OUR STORY

Hushpuff® was created from of the desire to prioritize honesty and health in the growing herbal industry; officially born on November 17, 2014 as the brainchild of John Ollila. With a background in health and a life full of action, John developed a strong devotion to mind and body. After earning a degree in from the Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior Department from UC Davis, and working with physical therapists then pain management Doctors, John sought a way to provide maximum benefit to his community beyond direct patient care.

Nursery management as a second collective piqued John’s interest in hemp – he delved in to gas chromatography (potency & pesticide testing) to further his understanding of plant science, extraction, and formulation techniques. Through dispensary and delivery service management he discovered a lack of purity in a largely unregulated market. Hushpuff’s foundation is proud to represent a movement towards providing top quality herbal solutions to an ever increasingly educated consumer.
